Landscaping Changes
April 11, 2017

Please make sure that if you are planting or changing anything with regard to the outside landscaping around your home that you make sure you receive permission from the HOA board of directors first.  No homeowner has control over portions of the landscaping as this is all considered common area and you must first get permission from the board for changes.  You may get an Architectural Request Form on this site under the documents tab.

2016 Annual Meeting of the Homeowners
October 3, 2016

The 2016 Annual Meeting of the Home Owners of The Mews has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Willows, Conference Room as in years past.

All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.  There are open Board positions and nominations will be accepted and elections held at the meeting.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

 
Gutter and Chimney Work
July 14, 2016

You should notice Gregory’s Guttering doing some much needed gutter work and chimney sealing over the next week or so.  This is in response to some water issues created by poor roof runoff as well as some existing and potential leaks around the chimneys.  This should also help with ice issues along door stoops this Winter.

 
Tree Work and Spring Projects
April 27, 2016

The Board has done a thorough inspection of the grounds and there are several items withing the Community that will be getting attention this Spring.  The large Ash tree has been removed.  You should notice some painting and re-pointing of some mortar joints going on throughout the Summer.

HOA Board Members Needed

HOA General Board Meeting
August 17, 2015

The Condo Board has set a general board meeting for  Tuesday, August 18th, 2015.  All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Items of general interest will be discussed as well as the financial situation of the Association.  If you would like to attend, please contact the Community Manager, Allen Grimm at 540-535-0816

 
Recent Chimney Work
February 4, 2015

As some of you may have noticed, there was some work being done on the roof/chimney at 1320 Ramseur Ln.  This was a one day project and all went well.

 
Association Dues Increase Voted
January 6, 2015

Based on both the savings recommendations from the commissioned Reserve Study and the needed current capital improvement projects of 2015, the Board of the Association voted to increase the dues for 2015 to $2880 for the year (billed monthly at $240).

It’s been several years that the dues have not been raised and in that time the Association has faced many repair projects which have reduced the reserve account.  The Board felt it their duty to boost reserves.  The increase will begin at the first of the new year.

 
New Community Manager
