2018 Annual Meeting of the Homeowners

The 2018 Annual Meeting of the Home Owners of The Mews has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Willows, Conference Room as in years past.

All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.  There are four (4) open Board position and nominations will be accepted and elections held at the meeting.

Items to be discussed are the 2019 Budget as well as Community projects.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

 
Owner Access Portals
April 25, 2018

Coventry Group is now offering Owner Access portals (see the new link in the sidebar) to allow you to access your association account details. From the portal, you can view your current account balance, check your payment history, pay your assessments online, view pending violations or open work orders, communicate with your association manager and more.

If we have your email address on file, an email was sent to you with your confirmation code. If you need a confirmation code, please email our office manager. Include your name, community name, property address within the community and your email address. We need ALL of this information to verify each homeowner. Concrete Repairs to begin 11/1
October 30, 2017

Crews will be working on damaged concrete areas of Ramseur Circle beginning Wednesday, 11/1.  They anticipate tearing up the concrete on Wednesday and pouring fresh concrete on Thursday/Friday.  Please allow area to dry and cure over the weekend.  You may resume use on Monday, 11/6.

You will NOT have access to the circle during the project so please make arrangements to park along Ramseur Ln.

Please be cooperative as we work to improve our Community.

 
Landscaping Changes
August 11, 2017

Please make sure that if you are planting or changing anything with regard to the outside landscaping around your home that you make sure you receive permission from the HOA board of directors first.  No homeowner has control over portions of the landscaping as this is all considered common area and you must first get permission from the board for changes.  You may get an Architectural Request Form on this site under the documents tab.

 
Gutter and Chimney Work
July 14, 2016

You should notice Gregory’s Guttering doing some much needed gutter work and chimney sealing over the next week or so.  This is in response to some water issues created by poor roof runoff as well as some existing and potential leaks around the chimneys.  This should also help with ice issues along door stoops this Winter.

 
Tree Work and Spring Projects
April 27, 2016

The Board has done a thorough inspection of the grounds and there are several items withing the Community that will be getting attention this Spring.  The large Ash tree has been removed.  You should notice some painting and re-pointing of some mortar joints going on throughout the Summer.

HOA Board Members Needed

There are 2 Board Director positions coming up for nomination at this year’s Annual Meeting as well as 1 existing Vacancy.  Any homeowners interested in serving on the HOA Board of Directors should contact Allen Grimm at Coventry Group or one of the existing members of the Board.

 
Recent Chimney Work
February 4, 2015

As some of you may have noticed, there was some work being done on the roof/chimney at 1320 Ramseur Ln.  This was a one day project and all went well.

 
Association Dues Increase Voted
January 6, 2015

Based on both the savings recommendations from the commissioned Reserve Study and the needed current capital improvement projects of 2015, the Board of the Association voted to increase the dues for 2015 to $2880 for the year (billed monthly at $240).

It’s been several years that the dues have not been raised and in that time the Association has faced many repair projects which have reduced the reserve account.  The Board felt it their duty to boost reserves.  The increase will begin at the first of the new year.
